Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Fraud

Fraud has been a factor since the enactment of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993.  A growing number of employees have begun to take advantage of FMLA, which was originally put in place to protect employees from having to choose between a paycheck and caring for a newborn, or sick loved one.  Surveillance is an excellent tool for uncovering what employees may actually be doing on those days when they claim to not be able to work, because they are tending to loved ones, at home.  If you suspect employees of committing FMLA Fraud, contact us today.
